HOW COMMERCIAL VIDEO PRODUCTION WORKS

1. Pre-Production: Planning

We will discuss what you are looking for and build an idea together that achieves your goals. From this you will receive a proposal outlining the idea, style and expected costs involved. Once both parties agree on the proposal a plan will be laid out to prepare for the shoot. This includes finding and booking locations, actors and anything else required.

2. Production: Filming

A day before shooting, all hired equipment will be collected and tested. A final call sheet will be sent out to outline the day's plan and provide important information. On the day of shooting it will be essential that everything is set up correctly; particularly the lighting as this can make or break the look of a shot. At the end of every day multiple backups of the footage will be made to reduce any chance of data loss.

3. Post-Production: Editing

A very rough first draft will be produced that blocks out the key components of video. Once you are happy will this draft and any changes have been made a more refined and polished draft will be produced. Once this draft has been reviewed and approved a final version will be created for final review and approval.

Disclaimer: The exact process will change from project to project depending on what is required.
